In 2011 Stuart was voted Surrey Artist of the year and was very pleased that this meant having an exhibtion of his work at the New Ashgate Gallery in Farnham in 2012
Stuart is currently working on new paintings for this exhibition and will have some exciting new work to show.
The exhibtion in Farnham opens on June 15th and Stuart will also be taking part in Surrey Artists Open Studios starting on June 8th at

Hollow Lane Series
Inspired by the wonderful deep cut lanes leading to Friday Street in Surrey, Stuart sees the contrast in the dark banks and the beautiful patterns of the winter branches.
Scotland Series
A recent trip to Scotland encouraged Stuart to capture the variety of textures and colours to be found in the Western Highlands
City Scapes
The excitement of the city gives a great contrast to the quiet beauty of the countryside
